Three Rivers Academy vs St.Charles College

Southern Conference League leaders St.Charles ran up a score of 104-78 to claim victory on the road against Three Rivers Academy.

St.Charles came out firing early and never looked back leading the game from start to finish. The visitors led by as many as 15 points in the first quarter forcing TRA into an early timeout. The home team responded with a run of their own to end the quarter 21-28, but this would prove to be the closest they would get to St.Charles whose endless energy and depth proved too much for the home team. St.Charles went on to take the second quarter 18-30 and dominated the third, running out as the eventual 104-78 winners.

St.Charles’ depth showed with 10 of their players getting on the scoresheet. They were led by A.Adedo’s 26 points and 15 rebounds. T.Powell added 23 while M.Mohamed chipped in with 20 to round up their top three scorers.

TRA were led by sharp shooter Kane Kenyon who went 7/11 from the three point line to finish with 23 points. Marc Sylvest added 16 while Harry Fairfield completed the top scorers with 15.

You can see why St Charles are sitting at the top of the league. They share the ball well offensively and their energy and effort defensively is second to none forcing us to work for every point we put on the board. My guys showed some great fight against a strong team who completely ran us off the floor in the first match up so despite the result I’m pleased with the progress we’ve made from the first half of the season,” said TRA Head Coach, Caylin Raftopoulos

Week 18 action sees St.Charles travel to King Henry for a top of the table clash while TRA are on the road to Holy Trinity.
