The Norwood School 70 – 52 Sir Robert Woodard Academy

Norwood earned their second leg win against Sir Robert Woodward Academy with a shorthanded six player team, by 70 to 52 points.

Norwood, who had their best score in the first quarter, started strong with 24 points and kept SRWA to 11 points. In the second quarter SRWA raised their defensive intensity and kept Norwood to nine points, managing to score 12 in the process.

Norwood kept the pressure and continued with their intensity and didn’t give up the lead going to half time (33 to 23). The third quarter saw Norwood pushed hard again, attacking the gaps, and managed to find the net, scoring 21 points to SRWA’s. SRWA’s best quarter came at the fourth, scoring 15 points. Norwood still kept the intensity despite SRWA’s valiant efforts and scored 16 points of their own. Norwood were led by A.Orlu’s 21points, finishing with a comfortable win scoring 70 points. SRWA were led by L.Francis as the game’s high scorer with 28 points and ended with a respectable 52points.
