The Norwood School 85-93 HTS Storm

Norwood showed their strength and perseverance in the 3rd and 4th quarter of the game but despite their late effort couldn’t keep up with the tenacity of well organised strong Holy Trinity School who ended up winning 93 to 85.

Holy Trinity Storm started strong scoring 12 points without any replies from Norwood in 3 to 4 minutes of the first quarter. HTS kept the lead finishing the quarter 24 to Norwood’s 12 points. The game looked set for a dominance from HTS, and the second quarter finished with a small change from Norwood scoring 18points to HTS 23points.

Norwood showed their perseverance in the 3rd quarter, raised their defensive intensity and kept intercepting passes, blocked crucial shots and converted to easy baskets offensively. The game changed the momentum where Norwood ended up scoring 29 points while HTS scored 19 points and brought the game to 5points difference, HTS 64 to Norwood 59.

On the last quarter the game looked set for a good showdown. Norwood fought to get the game to 2 points deficit but HTS did not give up lead. Both teams kept the pressure and worked hard on both sides of the court. HTS stayed composed throughout, led by their top scorer, 29points, C. Hildreth and won the last quarter 27 to 26. Norwood lost the game 85 to 93 despite their late valiant effort led by top game scorer A. Orlu, 32 points.
