The Norwood School 77 – 54 Harris City Academy CP

Norwood finished their season with a win over a respectable Harris City Academy Crystal Palace team, 77 to 54.

Both teams started well, exchanging baskets on both ends. 5 minutes in the 1st quarter, Norwood raised their defensive intensity and intercepted few passes and converted them into points. HCACP tried to break through Norwood’s defence but could only manage 12 points and lost the quarter 22 to 12 points.

HCACP came in the 2nd quarter energised and put up a good fight to get back in the game. Norwood still carried on with the same intensity and kept the pressure on HCACP.

HCACP kept pushing and finding the small gaps and had their best scoring quarter of the game with 17 points. Norwood carried on with their steals, quick scoring on transition, and kept the lead by winning the quarter 22 to 17. Norwood pushed on the same way on the 3rd quarter scoring 20 points to HCACP’s 12 points.

Both teams raised their intensity on defence on the 4th quarter. HCACP showed their efforts on the last quarter and kept Norwood to 13 points, while Norwood also held on defensively and let 13 points in against them.

Norwood managed to get a comfortable win on their last game of the season, 77 to 54, led by game high 30 points scorer, T. Blake. HCACP put up a good fight led by joint team high 12 points scorers W. Bidi-Lecadouq and A. Allicock, but finished their last game of season with loss.
