St Thomas the Apostle Sixth Form 65 v 69 The North School

St. Thomas the Apostle College opened with their first home game of the ABL season with a tough loss against The North school, going down 69-65.

Supported by a raucous crowd, STAC kept the game close despite a depleted squad due to injuries but could not cope with the hot shooting from the Kent based team.

Led by The North captain, Harvey Kemp Green (12 points) found ways to get to the line and finding teammates, getting his side past the finishing line.

STAC were led by captain Michael Asaolu (4 three pointers, 18 points) and first year player Kofi Oppong (18points).

The North hope to continue their winning form against Sir Robert Woodard Academy next week, while STAC travel to take on King Henry School.
