St Thomas the Apostle College vs Havering Sixth Form College

St Thomas the Apostle College won their first home game in the ABL Eastern Conference, after a torrid start to the season, picking up a 94-56 win against a depleted Havering Sixth Form College squad.

After suffering from a few injuries and absences over the course of the season, roles were reversed as STAC played host to a team missing seven players.

STAC dominated the first half, led by Rawle Allicock and Reuben Adeniran who scored freely on their way to 36 points and 28 points, respectively. A strong performance from Devante Abana-Odita saw him pace the visitors with 24 points, as Havering ensured the home team stayed honest.

However, STAC got great contributions from the whole team, for the first time this season, as Moses Gordon supported Allicock and Adeniran’s efforts by contributing a well-rounded performance, flirting with a triple double as he chipped in 13 points, 14 rebounds and six blocks. Havering’s Tim Alao was the only other player to hit double digits for the road team.

STAC will look to continue their winning ways at home next week, as they welcome South London rivals John Roan School, while Havering hope to bounce back with a full squad away against The North School.
