St Charles 80-51 Oasis Academy

In week 11 STC And Oasis went head to head in an intense game. St Charles put the pressure on early to set the tone winning the first quarter 30-7. Oasis were not deterred showing great fight and character in the 2nd quarter cutting the home side’s lead to 12 at the half. The third quarter was evenly matched with the away team twice cutting lead to 9pts but eventually run of steam enabling the home side to close out the game in the fourth with final score 80-51

The leading scorer for Oasis was S. Bobala with an efficient 14 points, doing as much as he could to pull his team back for the win.

Coach Pat added ”Our level of focus needs to improve, the execution was a little better from last week’s game but there is still a lot of room for improvement. Credit to Oasis for taking us out of our game plan and showing how far they have grown since our last encounter”

The leading scorers for STC were Joshua Akinbiyi with 24 points, Tyler Small with 18 and Abiodun Adedo with 17

St Charles will go onto the next week to play Capital City academy whilst, Oasis will go on to play Uxbridge College.
