St Charles College vs Three Rivers Academy

St Charles College had an energetic start to their game on Wednesday afternoon, defeating Three Rivers Academy 101-60. St Charles performed well throughout the game, scoring at will behind the play of Mohamed Elmoutasim Mohamed, Abiodun Adedo and Taariq Powell, as three players put up double-doubles.

St Charles’ Captain Taariq Powell said, “The game started with a quick tempo and a lot of energy from our team. However, there is still a lot we need to improve on defensively in terms of our communication.”

Marc Sylvest paced Three Rivers with 20 points, while Jack Fettes chipped in 15. Mohamed Elmoutasim Mohamed had 23 points, 10 rebounds and eight assists to lead St Charles, while Abiodun Adedo finished with 20 points, and Taariq Powell added 24 points and 12 rebounds.

St Charles will look to execute at both ends, especially in transition, when they face King Henry School next Wednesday. Meanwhile, Three Rivers will look to get back at track as they host Holy Trinity School.
