King Henry School vs Three Rivers Academy

King Henry win at home to a very capable and shooter ridden Three Rivers Academy team, 70-55 in the ABL South Division.

The return of Josh Uduje for King Henry as their leading scorer and talisman boosted moral and team. The game was a close and competitive contest with both teams coming out of the gates wanting the win.  King Henry struggled from the perimeter but second chance points made up the difference. Three Rivers however were excellent from the 3 point stripe in the first quarter and ended up with a 4 point lead at the end of the first quarter.

Both teams settled themselves and the second quarter but King Henry held the edge 21-17. In the third, King Henry stepped up their defense and caused turn-overs which translated into easy baskets and a 15-8 onslaught. In the final quarter King Henry continued to dominate defensively which created transition baskets and a 4th quarter margin of 22-14.

Best performers for King Henry were B. Tabansi  12pts & 8 rebs , J. Uduje 15pts & 8 rebs , M. Fofanah 12pts & 4 ass and D. Oputu 12pts & 12 rebs
