King Henry School vs Harris Academy St.Johns Wood

King Henry win at home against Harris Academy with a final score of 75-65 in the ABL South Division.

King Henry were able to field a full squad with all players back from injury. The game started off well for both teams coming out of the gates fast with a first quarter score 16-15. King Henry composed themselves in the second quarter and locked down defensively to outscore Harris 23-7. The defensive pressure continued in the third as King Henry again caused turn-overs which translated into easy baskets, but Harris capitalised on their 3pt shot proficiency which led to only a 20-15 edge for quarter. In the final quarter, King Henry cleared the bench winning the fourth quarter 16-28

King Henry were led by M. Fofanah with 16 points and 6 Assists, whilst Bradley Tabansi had a double-double of 14 points and 13 rebounds. Josh Uduje also added 15 points and dished out 5 assists in his teams win.

Afetr the game, coach Bucknall said, “We didn’t start well at home and this is becoming a trend. In the end we dominated the boards and transition offense.”

Harris face West London College on Friday whilst King Henry face St.Charles College on March 6th.
