Havering Sixth Form College vs Haringey Sixth Form College

Havering Sixth Form College hosted Haringey Sixth Form College in their 13th game of the ABL Eastern Conference campaign which saw Haringey take the win 141-27.

It was always going to be a tough task with a weakened squad due to injuries and unavailable players. Haringey took no time at all in showing why they are number 1 in the Eastern conference, scoring at will and putting Havering under constant pressure with their full court press.

“It has not been a good week in regards to preparation and you can’t face the top team in your league and expect to perform without being prepared.  The players know what needs to happen to improve so will see what the commitment is like to upcoming training,” said Havering Head Coach Damien Plummer.

“Credit should go to Haringey who were everything you would expect from an unbeaten table topping team as they took the game to us and applied pressure for the whole game.”

Samuel Roe led Havering with 11 points , whilst Haringey were led by 31 points from F.Agu and 29points from O.Young.

Havering will continue their campaign on Wednesday February 06th away to John Roan School, whilst Haringey will take on V16  Colchester Colleges at Home.
