Harris City Academy CP 121 – 42 Barton Peveril College

Harris City Academy Crystal Palace Got back to winning ways with a dominate 121-49 home win against Barton Peveril College on Wednesday afternoon.

HCACP’s victory was a good way to bounce back from a hard fought away loss to the top of the table team Holy Trinity on Monday afternoon. A superb performances from William Bidi (22 points, 11 assists, 5 rebounds and 2 steals) and Reece Price-Harrison (46 points , 6 rebounds and a block ) led HCACP to a deserved victory.

Price-Harrison played his best game in an Academy shirt, with great blocks, rebounding and high energy.  It was a real team performance however, with nearly all 12 players on the scoresheet.

Barton College did their best to make the game competitive, but after an opening run of 18-0 in the first quarter,  the result was never in doubt.

“We just wanted to get back to winning ways “ said head coach Lee McCarthy. “Monday was a tough loss but we learnt a lot about ourselves which will help drive us forward for the rest of the season.”

Along with Bidi and Price-Harrison., Ayo Oluwi also had a solid performance with 11 points,  9 rebounds and 3 steals for  HCACP, whilst Barton was led by K Tsogo (11 points) and J Lee (9 points)

HCACPs next fixture is away at St Thomas the Apostle Sixth Form, whilst Barton Peveril will host king Henry School. Both fixtures are to be played on Wednesday 4th December.
