Harris Academy St Johns Wood vs Ealing, Hammersmith & West London College

Harris Academy SJW had an emphatic start into ABL league in the first game in 2018 season as they defeated Hammersmith College 65-44 on Wednesday afternoon.

Emmanuel Eze finished with 19 points, eight rebounds and six steals with the visitors led by Marley Opoku’s 15 points.

The game remained close throughout the first five minutes before an 8-0 run gave Harris a 17-10 advantage. EHWLC kept fighting and attacking the boards as they made it a three-point game, but again good executions from the inside game of Eze and the overall defensive effort helped the hosts lead by 10 at the half.

The third quarter saw Harris take control with a strong period as the lead grew to 28 points with all players able to get onto the court before completing the victory.

HASJW take on St Charles in their next game on January 31.
