Haringey Sixth Form College vs Havering Sixth Form College

Haringey Sixth Form College put in another dominant performance in the ABL Eastern Conference as they defeated the visiting Havering Sixth Form 148-41.

Haringey raced off to a 31-0 lead to begin the game, as they controlled the contest until the very end. Their intense defence proved too much for the visitors, while the shared the ball on the offensive end to see all 12 Haringey players feature on the scoresheet.

“I wanted us to move the ball and cut down our turnovers. I always focus more on the performance; today was a good result but we still have a lot of work to do,” said Haringey Coach Franck Batimba.

Franklin Agu led the hosts with 39 points, as Anthony Stevens had 24 and Alex Distras added 23.

John Bergonia led the visitors with 10 points, while Tobi Sobodu contributed eight and Alpay Nafioglu chipped in six.

Haringey will look to continue their hot streak next week, as Wednesday 7 November sees them travel to VI6 Colchester Colleges, whilst Havering will host John Roan School.
