Haringey Sixth Form College vs COHENEL

Haringey 6th Form College put in another strong performance as they defeated Cohenel 108-39. Haringey were dominant from start to finish, and put the pressure on Cohenel early  forcing them into turnovers which they made sure to capitalise on. This was the third meeting of the season for these two teams, as they had also met previously in the league and the cup competition. Haringey winning all three match-ups.

“We expected the game to be physical as it has been on our previous two meetings,” said Haringey coach Franck Batimba. “But our defence was really good today which resulted in some very good offence. The team is gelling game by game and it is a pleasure to coach my boys”

Alex Distras led Haringey with 36 points which included five three’s, whilst Franklin Agu added 33 points and 16 rebounds. G. Lygkas led the visitors with 12 points.

Haringey travel to the Jon Roan school in their next fixture, whilst Cohenel host the North School.
