Haringey Sixth Form College 156 v 47 Moulton College

This Wednesday Haringey Sixth Form College hosted Moulton in what ended up being once again a very one-sided win for the defending ABL Champions.

Haringey started off strong with tough defense and rapid scoring which Moulton found very difficult to handle. The first quarter ended 47 – 10 to Haringey. The second quarter was more of the same as Haringey kept momentum and continued to score at a fast pace. A mixture of fastbreak points and three pointers from Haringey helped them keep their lead going up at half-time 86 – 22.

Despite a higher second half scoring from Moulton, Haringey maintained control of the game on both ends of the floor with their excellent ball movement and consistent defensive pressure. The game ended with a 156 – 47 victory for Haringey Sixth Form College, who again continue to show they are the team to beat in the Eastern Conference. Top scorers for Haringey were Newbury (37pts), Harding (31pts) and Distras (31pts). While Moulton was led by Jack with 21 points.

Haringey are now 3–0 while Moulton drop their record to 1–5. Haringey play Mayfield School next while Moulton will face Havering Sixth Form College.
