EHW London College 44 v 85 St Charles College

Hammersmith Hammers’ first home game did not go as planned as they fell to St Charles 85 – 44.

The game had an exciting start where both teams played a fast pace game, although Hammersmith could not keep up and made some mistakes which St Charles capitalised on.

“We need to work on listening and executing more consistently to have a chance in this league. We were not on our A game this week, hopefully we will bounce back next week,” said EHW London’s head coach Michael Quamina.

Idryck Wilkinson finished with 16 points and 7 boards for the hosts.

Adiodun Adedo finished with a game high 25 points and five boards for St Charles, with Michael Ademola adding 16 more, shooting 2/3 from range.

Hammersmtih will face off against Uxbridge next week as St Charles travel to West Thames College in two weeks’ time.
