County Upper School vs Moulton College

County Upper School continued their ABL Central Conference campaign with a good home performance as they took down Moulton College 158-52.

Bradley Day scored 26 points and was supported by Jonathan Bourne and Jordan Boyd who added 24 points apiece.

County Upper took the first quarter 39-7, before following up with a 38-17 second quarter as they built a 47 point half-time lead.

The hosts continued to dominate the game in the third and fourth quarter, with Moulton unable to keep up with County Upper, as the home side won the final period by 24 points.

“We did a good job of breaking Moulton’s zone defence and executing our own defensive principles,” said County Upper Coach Darren Johnson.

“Although this was a solid performance, we still have areas that are needing work, which we will try to work on as we prepare to face Nottingham away on 28 November.”

Moulton were led in scoring by Zach Dixon and Michael Akpadiaha-Jack who had 14 points apiece, supported by D.Adegunloge who added eight.

County Upper’s next fixture will be away against Nottingham on 28 November, while Moulton host Long Road on 7 November.
