City of Leeds Academy 84 v 58 Loughborough College

City of Leeds Academy worked hard together as a team to protect their home court in the second ABL game of the season, claiming an 84 – 58 win vs Loughborough College.

The game started off close with both teams playing very competitively, however City of Leeds began to pull away throughout the 1st and 2nd quarters, going into half time up 40-24.

In the 3rd quarter City of Leeds came out with more energy but quickly got themselves into foul trouble, opening the door for Loughborough to make up some ground from the free throw line.

City of Leeds Academy coach Zaman Akbary said: WGreat performance by every individual players. Especially Charley Hoole on the boards, plus 14 points and Josh Keevash with 12 points. To top that Bailey England came out with 28 points. In the meantime we have got a lot of work to do to have a better game next week against Hartlepool Sixth Form College.”
