Barking & Dagenham College vs The North School

Barking & Dagenham College played their second home game in the ABL Eastern Conference at UEL SportsDock against The North School, as the visitors cruised their way to a comfortable 43-101 win. BDC is yet to claim their first win, and now sit bottom of the Eastern Conference with a 0-4 record.

The North School were on form on the offensive end in this contest, as their efficient shooting from behind the arc proved too much for the hosts’ defence throughout the first three quarters. It was only in the fourth quarter that BDC managed to slow down the opposition, with an improved effort on the defensive end. Sean Trumper, Harvey Kemp-Green and Max Heath combined for 10 made three-pointers for the game.

“This was a tough loss for us, because last game we showed so much improvement and now we’ve gone back making the same mistakes we made at the beginning on the season,” said BDC Coach Ravidson Teixeira.

BDC were paced by 14 points from Lukas Vilgolkas, as Teddie Barnes added 11 and Alex Gasbar had 8. Meanwhile, The North School were led by Sean Trumper’s 29 points, while Max contributed Heath 27 and Harvey Kemp-Green added 25.
