#4 Queen Ethelburga’s 116-86 #13 Northfleet Tech College
- Updated: February 12, 2020
Queen Ethelburga’s hosted Northfleet technology college in round one of the ABL playoffs on Wednesday night.
The game was played at a frantic pace with both teams scoring at a high clip. D Longman would keep the visitors in the game behind some tremendous 3-point shooting but QE would run out eventual winners 116 – 86.
“I was really impressed with Northfleet’s ball movement and how hard they all worked on both ends,” said QE coach Josh Metcalf. “That being said, it was a great atmosphere for our guys to play in and I thought we attacked well and did a good job at speeding them up.”
Elijah Walsh, Latrell Davis, and Tommy Skelton all combined for 104 points, while the high scoring combination of the Longman brothers had 52 between them.
QE will host Haringey in the quarter final of the ABL playoffs.
