ABL Player of Week 9 – Elijah Walsh

With Queen Ethelburga’s beating Stoke-on-Trent College last week, QE’s Elijah Walsh is our ABL Player of the Week.

Top of the Northern Conference standings at 6-1, QE beat Stoke 91-56 on Wednesday thanks to an impressive 43 points from the Deng Camp rated Walsh. With six rebounds, two assists and four steals for an efficiency rating of 45, the talented guard was a class apart against a tough opponent.

Walsh has been on a tear so far this season, stringing together a number of eye opening performances in the Northern Conference.

He currently ranks 3rd in the ABL with an efficiency rating of 33.5, and top of the scoring charts with 32.3ppg. His 5.5 steals per game are also good enough for joint 5th on the year.

“I’m really happy to win Player of the Week for a game that was really important to play well in,” said Walsh.

“I would just like to thank QE and the ABL for giving me a platform to go out and show what I’m capable of and hopefully we can build on this performance moving forwards.”
