ABL Player of Week 10 – Lanre Ayinla

New City’s Lanre Ayinla is this week’s ABL Player of the Week following his performance that included 28 points, 12 rebounds, two assists and two ball steals.

His side defeated Mayfield School 99-78 in week 10, and currently sit top of the Eastern Conference with an unbeaten record.

Ayinla said: “It’s a pleasure to receive this award and goes to show that my hard work is paying off.”

Coach Andrew Lockhard added: “I’m really happy for Lanre to receive player of the week award. 

“His unique skill set of being able to play on the perimeter and inside the paint, makes him a difficult matchup for opponents. He is a player that is very coachable, always willing to listen and eager to improve.”
