The 6’5″ forward said this upon receiving the award, “I’m really pleased to be named as the ABL Player of the Week but I would like to give credit to my team-mates and coaches for encouraging me to play with aggression, freedom and for putting me in positions where I can excel.”

“My focus is purely on getting better every day as a player and as a team. We have been training and playing really well over the last three weeks and we’re looking forward to the challenges of the Christmas stretch!”

The North School Coach Andrew Sunderland added, “I am delighted to see Sean named as the ABL Player of the Week. He is as fine a young man as you could hope to coach and he thoroughly deserves this recognition. Sean has worked tirelessly to expand his offensive skill-set and he has been unguardable since the half term break; averaging 30 points, 16 rebounds, 4 assists and 3 blocks over our last three games.

“He plays the game with pace, intensity and flair and I am excited to be a part of his ongoing development; he has an incredibly bright future ahead of him.”
