Player of the Week: Ryan Anglin

The ABL Player of the Week has been awarded to Ryan Anglin of Aston Manor Academy, after a Week 1 performance where he poured in 25 points on 12-17 field goal shooting, while adding three rebounds, four assists, five steals and two blocks – a major impact across the box score.

Anglin’s efforts spurred Aston Manor to a 104-64 victory over Loughborough College in the Central Conference on the opening day of the ABL.

Anglin said, ““I’m really proud and excited to be named as the ABL player of the week. I have put a lot of work into developing my game with Aston Manor Basketball Academy and happy to start seeing the benefits of this on the court.”

Aston Manor Head Coach Curtis Xavier added, “The coaching staff feel that Ryan has long had the potential to put up big numbers and at last he’s to starting show it. Long may it continue!”
