Player of the Week: Taiwo Badmus

Taiwo Badmus has been named as the ABL’s Player of the Week after an impressive scoring display in Week 13.
Badmus finished with 43 points to lead Haringey to a 78-70 success at home to Uxbridge
“I’m glad to earn Player of the Week and gain some recognition for my efforts to my team’s battle for a playoff spot,” he said.
“Against Uxbridge, my team got off to a slow start offensively and I knew being the leader of the team I had to lead the way on both ends and set the tone for the rest of the game.
“I’d like to thank my team-mates and coaches as they played their part in my great performance.”
Head Coach Alex DuCasse added: “Taiwo has been working hard this season, first one in the gym and last one out.
“He has been leading the team on and off the court. Keen to learn, he regularly asks for feedback to improve his game to benefit our team, which is shown from his performance of 43 points in a close win.”
Badmus’ display helped strengthen Haringey’s top four position in the Central Conference.
