ABL 17/18 – Week 10 Round Up

Check out what happened in the first week of action in the New Year as the 2017-18 ABL season continues..

Northern Conference

Aston Manor continued their dominant form this season with a hard-fought 86-90 road win at South Cheshire to move to 7-0.

Mo Abushego led the way in the victory with a 30-point haul with Zack Powell adding 20 points in support.

Meanwhile, Queen Ethelburga’s remain close behind after a comfortable 61-95 win at Vision West Notts with Stoke on Trent also running out emphatic winners as they eased past Tyne Met in a 128-59 success as Marcel Kofi posted a triple-double.

Nottingham improved to 4-3 as they edged out The Sheffield College 69-72 on the road as they denied their opponents a first win in the ABL.


Central Conference

County Upper extended their unbeaten start to seven games as they defeated Aylesbury Grammar 84-70 with John Bourne top scoring with 25 points.


Eastern Conference

Corelli picked up their second win with ease as they defeated Havering 102-63 behind 18 points from Seun Babalola.

Elsewhere, Northfleet Tech moved to a 4-1 record after beating Seevic 87-54 at home. Emmanuel Sesay led the way with a 24-point haul.


Southern Conference

St Charles maintained their form with a crushing 37-107 success away at Three Rivers, while Hackney moved into second as they overcame Holy Trinity in an 80-88 road triumph.

Leyton recorded their fourth win, seeing off The John Roan School 54-63 on the road with Sir Robert Woodard Academy beating EHWLC 82-69.
