ABL 17/18 – Week 7 Round Up

Check out what happened on the seventh week of the 2017-18 ABL season..

Northern Conference

Queen Ethelburga’s College continued their strong start with Eisley Swaine recording a triple-double with 44 points, 10 rebounds and 11 assists in a comfortable 128-61 success against The Sheffield College.

Aston Manor are also unbeaten at 4-0 as they overcame Archbishop Beck 77-70, while South Cheshire edged out Tyne Met 80-82 on the road behind 33 points from Max Jones.

Also, Nottingham bounced back with a 65-48 victory over Carmel, who also suffered defeats against Tyne Met and QE in a busy schedule as they drop to 3-4.

Stoke on Trent returned to action with a convincing 51-85 win away at Gateshead with Marcel Kofi netting 22 points.

Central Conference

County Upper moved to 4-0 with a comprehensive 39-102 road victory at Uxbridge College, while Aylesbury Grammar School picked up their second win as they defeated Long Road 67-49 at home.

Eastern Conference

The North School made it back-to-back wins as they earned a 78-100 success away at Havering with a game-high 20 points for Emmanuel Ephenus-Agostinho.

Northfleet Tech College also picked up a win on the road as they eased past Barking & Dagenham College in a 40-66 victory.

STANDINGS

Southern Conference

Defending champions St Charles ended the unbeaten start of Holy Trinity with an 83-74 victory at home to move into a share of top spot.

Leyton improved to 3-2 in the Conference after edging out Three Rivers Academy 47-45 thanks to a game-winning three from Titas Zydelis.
