ABL Week 2 Round Up

The inaugural ABL season is in full flow now with six games taking place in the second week. Find out what happened, below:

North Conference

Preston’s College made it two wins from two in the North as 19 points from Moses Byekwaso led them to a convincing 103-43 win on the road at Tyne Met College.

Moulton College held off Milton Keynes College in the final quarter to claim their first win with an 83-63 triumph. Carlo Nieva went 6-of-8 from behind the arc in his 25-point haul.

North Conference Standings

South Conference

Dan Akin produced another dominant display as he poured in 45 points to power Northfleet Tech to a second win as they ran out comfortable 147-38 winners at home to SRWA. There was also support from Dwight London, who had 25 points and Jude King with 20.

Hackney Community College also made it a 2-0 start as they saw off Barking & Dagenham College 72-65 behind 23 points from Bryan Martinez.

There was a first ABL win of the season for County Upper as their strong inside presence set the platform for a 62-44 victory at Seevic College. Jed Robinson led the way with a dominant 23 points and 15 rebounds.

Holy Trinity got a 63-48 win away at Ryden’s Enterprise School, to move to 1-0.
