ABL Week 1 Round Up

The ABL tipped off its inaugural season this week, with six games across the league. Read on to find out what happened:

North Conference

In the North, Preston’s College got 32 points from Moses Byekwaso on their way to a 61-100 victory over Gateshead College.

Priestley College opened the ABL season with a 80-62 win over Queen Ethletburga’s College behind 23 points and 8 assists from Max Jones.

North Conference Standings.

South Conference

Northfleet Tech picked up a win in their first ABL encounter of the season dominating Ryden’s Enterprise School 108-37, behind a 43 point, 15 rebound, 5 assist effort from Dan Akin.

Hackney Community College also cruised in Week 1, taking down Sir Robert Woodard Academy 37-82. Brown had 21 to lead Hackney.

A composed performance on both ends of the floor saw Harefield Academy defeating Seevic 80-59, with Mills finishing with 15 points.

Finally, Barking College got a 70-59 win over County Upper. Paulius Barsokius led with 19 points, as Barking overcame a 29 point outing from Jed Robinson.
